- 02Confirmation. We check the digger's availability against your requirements, including any customisation you've asked for, and confirm how long it will take to get it to you.
- 0310% deposit. A holding deposit of 10% secures the machine before we ship it. Total time is typically 6 to 8 weeks from deposit to arrival at your door, confirmed with you in person and in writing.
- 04Balance on delivery. Pay the remaining 90% when we hand the machine over.

What can a 5 tonne excavator do?
A 5 tonne excavator suits drainage trenching and landscaping on tight sites, digging around 3.5 to 3.8 metres. Buckets in the 4 to 10 tonne class hold about 0.2 to 0.4 cubic metres.
What's the difference between a 5 tonne and an 8 tonne excavator?
An 8 tonne machine digs deeper and lifts more. A Hitachi ZX60C-6A reaches about 3.55 metres deep at 5.4 tonnes operating weight, while a Cat 307 reaches 4.64 metres at 8.12 tonnes.
How many hours is too many on a used excavator this size?
